Paul do Mar
A simple fishing village waits for you: still typical, friendly and curious,
quiet and the noise of the waves, nice small bars and
“mercados”, and a habour where the fishermen sell their catch
in the late afternoon.
Directly behind the village you meet the madeirian mountains: walking
on the famous LEVADAS, climbing, biking or paragliding – all is
possible!
At the rocky beach
you can meet surfers from all over the world. It’s not possible
to swim in this area, however, you will be able to do this in a poolarea
from a hotel near by, or in the sea trough the pier.
PAÚL
DO MAR is the sunniest place on MADEIRA. In the west, far away from all
tourists. But still you need only 1/2 hour by car to be in the bustle
of the capital city FUNCHAL.
With the opening of the tunnel, in Autum 2000, PAÚL DO MAR came
closer to the rest of the island.

Casa Amarela
I bought CASA AMARELA
in winter 2000, rebuilt it with much enthusiasm in modern, mediterran
style. You will find there all facilities that you need.
This house has got 3 bedrooms (for 6 people), 3 bathrooms, a great kitchen,
sitting- and diningroom, winecellar, garage, veranda with seaview, a terrace
on the roof and a direct door to the sea.

The price for the
complete house per week is:

75,00 € / additional day
including all taxes and endcleaning.
The bill should be paid in the arrival, please.

Arrival
Hire cars you will get directly at MADEIRA AIRPORT. Inside there are maps,
and it’s easy to find the way to PAÚL DO MAR.
You drive about 30 min. on VIA RÁPIDA to RIBEIRA BRAVA. After about
20 min. more, along the coast, to PONTA DO SOL, CALHETA and finally PAÚL
DO MAR.
In
PAÚL DO MAR you have to go through the village, then the 3. street
left (after the church!), to the sea (cemetery on the right), at the end
turn left.
Please
check-in either at RMK-Agency in CALHETA, or in the restaurant BAIA DO
PAÚL in PAÚL DO MAR. After
checking-in, you can go or drive to CASA AMARELA, being the 3. house right
after the restaurant.
With
the remotecontrol you can enter the garage and the house directly.
